Wheel Straightening & Welding

Alloys as good as new!

Navigating potholes, kerbs, speed bumps, and uneven road surfaces can wreak havoc on your alloy wheels, especially given the many poorly maintained roads in Scotland. This kind of damage can not only affect your vehicle's appearance but can also result in a failed MOT – a situation that's as costly as it is aggravating for car owners.

We're pleased to let you know that a buckled wheel doesn't have to mean shelling out for a new one.

We have the expertise to smooth out any bumps or dents in your alloy wheel at just a fraction of the replacement cost. Plus, we can repair a single crack without compromising the wheel's structural integrity.

With our help, you can keep your alloy wheels looking pristine and your car ready to pass its MOT.

Signs that you might have a buckled alloy:
  • Tyre tracking feels wrong
  • Uneven tyre wear
  • Loss of pressure
  • Heavy steering
  • Steering wheel vibrations
What is wheel straightening?

Wheel straightening is a process that involves heating the damaged alloy wheel to an extremely high temperature to soften the metal.

After heating, the wheel is placed into a hydraulic press, which applies pressure to reshape and straighten the alloy. This process helps fix any uneven points or distortions caused by impacts with potholes, kerbs, or other obstacles.

Once straightened, the wheel is ready to hit the road again, ensuring your vehicle runs smoothly and safely.
